I had the most wonderful stay at Swallow Cottage! The cottage itself was beautifully decorated with so much attention to detail. It truly felt like a home away from home. I loved the little treats that the owner left throughout the cottage, it made my stay even more special. The record player was a delightful touch, I spent hours listening to 40s, 50s, and 60s music while enjoying the cozy atmosphere. The private deck was a lovely spot to soak up the sun and wake up to the sound of birds singing. And let's not forget about the warm and inviting log burner, perfect for those chilly evenings. The surroundings were so peaceful and picturesque, it was the ideal place to relax and unwind. I also appreciated the dog-friendly amenities, like the towels, bowls, and biscuits provided. The owner was friendly and helpful, and the welcome pack of goodies was a pleasant surprise. my experience at Swallow Cottage was absolutely perfect. I cannot recommend it enough.

The owner had little treats throughout the cottage, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Our daughter loved the record player and we enjoyed listening to music from different eras. the location was quiet and isolated, perfect for star gazing and walking the dog in the large field.
The TV signal and mobile signal were poor, and it would have been helpful to have WiFi. the narrow road access and the fact that it is located on a working farm might not be to everyone's taste.

Loved the free parking! It was such a thrill to have towels provided in the holiday home. And oh, the terrace was simply to die for, I've never experienced anything like it!
The fact that I couldn't teleport myself from the nearest airport was a real bummer.

The cottage was beautifully renovated with excellent finishes. It was very clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. the shower was powerful and the facilities were top-notch. We loved the generous welcome pack and the fact that shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner were provided. the host was welcoming and always available if we needed anything. the location was peaceful and perfect for a quiet getaway. We also appreciated that the cottage was dog-friendly.
Although it wasn't a problem for us, some people may not appreciate the narrow road access and the fact that the cottage is located on a working farm.

Our daughter was especially thrilled with the record player and we had a blast listening to old music together. the location was perfect for a peaceful getaway, with no light pollution and plenty of space to walk our dog in the large field behind the cottage.

Wow, what a gem! Swallow Cottage exceeded all expectations with its spaciousness, charming decor, and thoughtful extras. Gail, the host, made us feel so welcome and even surprised us with delightful treats that made our stay extra special. The peaceful surroundings and cozy fireplace added to the overall charm. We loved it so much that we've already made plans to return for Christmas!
Only one minor thing to mention about the breakfast selection, it could have had a bit more variety. But everything else was absolutely perfect!

We loved the peaceful and isolated location, perfect for stargazing. the owner was friendly and provided a generous welcome pack. the shower was powerful and the bathroom well-equipped with plenty of towels.
The access road to the cottage was quite narrow and may not suit everyone. being situated on a working farm could be a downside for some guests.
